Apologies if this has already been answered, but I've searched for 2days and can't find my answer - is it possible/has anyone successfully stopped a lender from processing data to the CRAs on an active account?????

I think you will struggle with this - you have no automatic right to prevent processing of your data, provided that the data is accurate and the processing fair.

 

You can prevent processing that is unfair (s.10), and prevent any automated decision making (s.12) and indeed I would think that you could block the data controller from anything that violates the principles of the DPA.
