I did see a thread on here recently that LTSB are closing accounts if you win; is this true - if so please can I have an update

not true in general.........very very few accounts are being closed...

Preliminary request sent to lloyds 7.3.07

LBA sent to lloyds 21.3.07

N1 form filed at the court 4.4.07

I won a few weeks ago and my (personal) account is still open and I've had no threat of closure.

 

You might find that at the end of it all you want to open an account with a new bank anyway and move. That's what I am about to do...

I was worried about this as my main claim is on the business account and at £11.6k I bet they will close it

I would get another account asap. Our Lloyds business account is still open but we owe them about the same as they owe us and we have another account with a different bank. We are claiming 2.5K

BANK CHARGES

Nat West Bus Acct £1750 reclaim - WON

 

LTSB Bus Acct £1650 charges w/o against o/s balance - WON

 

Halifax Pers Acct £1650 charges taken from benefits - WON

 

Others

 

GE Money sec loan - £1900 in charges - settlement agreed

GE Money sec loan - ERC of £2.5K valid for 15 years - on standby

FirstPlus - missold PPI of £20K for friends - WON

Goldady - Many thanks for the advice, I did open one ages ago with A&L but have never used it - best I get this working asap as I am just ready to send off my N1.
