Hi all!

I sent the BBC standard letter to claim my 140 punds NatWest took away from my account in unfair charges. I got a response:

Dear Miss...

 

Thank you for your recent letter regarding the fees applied to your account.

We are currently considering your claim. Given the work involved in assessing your claim we anticipate that we will be in a position to respond within 6-7 weeks, but will endeavour to do so sooner if we are able to.

I know it's a small ammount, but want it back.

What shlould I do next guys? Wait for their answer or write another letter?

Hi there.

 

I received the same letter, and just continued on to the next step that is outlined in the FAQ.

 

I believe this is classed as a "standard issue" letter, so basically they are putting your claim off, just wait for the 14 days and continue.

Hi aragon, I put in a claim for £130 had to send the LBA. After the 14 days were up I phoned them, Think it was this one, 020 8236 8007

Money in account approx 2 weeks later.
