Hi, wondered if anyone had any advice to offer.....we are in the process of taking our case to court, however this morning we received a letter saying the bank account would be credited £750 in the next 10 days (when checked account the money was already in) and that any outstanding charges would be cancelled? Is this a standard process for Lloyds TSB as i've read that another woman had experienced the same thing. They also sent a leaflet about the financial ombudsman saying that we should take the case to them if we are not happy with the £750 pay out.......we aren't satisfied with this as they actually owe £2973.18 so would be taking things further. Does anyone have any advance on this and how we stand with regards the financial ombudsman? Thanks 8) :)

C) You will be offered a partial refund but it will be offered as a "Full and Final" settlement of your claim. We would advise you to accept this - but only on the condition that it is a partial settlement and that you will continue with your claim to recover full funds. Letters for this can be found here...
