Capquest have replied - thoughts please

Hi,

 

I CCA'd Capquest in April & they did not reply with the required information or even respond within 42 days. I therefore sent them a follow up letter stating that they had failed to comply and insisted that they remove all of my information from their files etc. (However they are not recording any information on my credit files).

 

They have replied to my follow up letter, please see below:

 

 

 

 

Any thoughts on how to progress now?

If they failed to comply with your CCA request I don't think they can do anything at all. Perhaps "long term hold" is 30 or 40 years ??

 

I think I would do nothing in that situation. I wouldn't be too surprised if you don't hear from them again, but hang on to the proof of posting or whatever you have for your CCA request in case they come up with something in a few days/weeks time.

Leave them to stew.

When they come knocking for payment, then hit them with the non-compliance of CCA and have a chat with TS.

I tend to agree with Curlyben. If you report them now, then it just might wake them up into finding something. So let sleeping dogs lie for now!
