This is one of the claims I am taking over from my son's. He is getting impatient and frustrated with the banks. He had not logged onto the website previously so no details had been posted.

He has received all the usual letters and an offer of part settlement, he refused this and they wrote back saying the offer was their final response and would not enter into anymore correspondence.

We therefore have submitted a claim through our local court.

The claim was not answered by Monument. We entered and secured a default judgement. We have received confirmation from Monument that they will forward a cheque. It would appear victory is ours.

Has anyone actually won from Monument without them defaulting on mycol?

My court date is the 6th Sept - I'm assuming it will be 'stayed'... I've been fighting Monument for 2.5 years... and started the charges refund back in February... looks like I will be fighting them for a lot longer *sob*

I can't seem to find any examples of someone winning against Monument except this one (but by default!)
