Hi all,

I wrote to lloyds tsb requesting a refund on my default charges for the past 5yrs. They replied saying default charges are not classified as penalty charges hence they are not obliged to refund me. Has anyone else recieved a similiar reply? or has anyone got any advice on what the next step is?

cheers

Hi,

Pretty much everyone using this site will have got the same reply - its completely standard. You should read the step by step pages using teh link below.

Read as much as you can, be patient, and it will come to pass!

Hehehe I wonder how many times we have all heard that from LTSB.

Hopefully their template letter will get worn out and they come clean and tell us the truth.

On wait there's another one flying by the window now

Best advice is to read the site, take your time and don't be put off by the legal cobblers they'll send you. ;)

Be VERY careful whose advice you listen too
