Hello,

This is quite a frightening thing for me to do, but would welcome guidelines. I have followed the steps in reclaiming bank charges from Nationwide and have got to the stage where I sent them a letter stating they had 7 days or I would proceed with court action.

However, looking at a number of threads most of you gave them 14 days, and I now fear I've done it wrong, especially as I have recieved no response from Nationwide and today is the 8th day.

What would you recommend?

Regards

Paul

Just wait the 14 days then continue. Please read the FAQs and the step by step instructions. This will help you avoid making mistakes. threads merged please stick to this one.

Hi Dulce! Glad you liked the advice. I will follow your progress with interest. I would add to anyone else reading this and wanting to change to the FOS route at the last minute people can go onto the FOS website where they can download the complaint form and fill it in online. Then print off the completed form adding any additional points that you wern't able to fit on the form and post it to the address supplied along with copies of any correspondence to and from NW. I would also advise adding that you are aware that NW are using delaying tacticts with no intention of going to court thus wasting the courts time.

Good Luck All

Trickyt;)
