Hello, I have been through all of the stages recommended in claiming back my money from the bank and now need a little bit of help.

I have estimated my claim over the last six years - statements have not been delivered within the data protection act deadline, and am now filing my claim with MoneyClaim online.

How do I work out the interest on an estimated amount ?

Hi sharon

If they haven't complied with a valid SAR request, are you taking separate action because of this? Did you use our templates? Have you had partial details?

The interest on estimated claims will be taken as yearly total and interest dated from half way through the year, 30th June or 1st July - whichever you prefer.

So, if you estimate that charges for yr 2002 were £600, then interest is 8% from 1st July 2002 - that would be 1440 days as of today = £190.08

..

.
