Hi everyone

This is my first post on here, have been reading the various threads for the past week or so.

I am claiming a total of about £1500 that they have stolen from me (I even went into my local branch to see my account manager as I was so broke to see if there was ANYTHING that they could do to help - she practically laughed me out of the branch). :evil:

Anyway, this is how far I am with my claim;

Have sent all of the standard letters requesting money back with no luck.

Submitted a claim via MCOL on the 14th May - considered served on the 19th.

They now have until tomorrow (2nd June) to acknowledge my claim.

Having read all of the advice on here though, I think that I will send another letter offering them more time to pay as the judgement by default option seems like it may not be the best option.

I will keep you all posted on my progress....:)

Thanks jshtr3.

Had a read of that yesterday to help me make up my mind about giving them more time. However, just beginning to panick that I may have sent the MCOL stuff to my local branch and not the main office!! Everyone else seems to get their claims acknowledged without many problems!

Watch this space....

Not everyone, one or two of us do slip through the net. Don't worry, send the letter and they should defend;)

Just had a thought, when I originally filed my claim with MCOL, I didn't send the schedule of charges to them, now that the claim has been acknowledged, is it too late to send it off to them now or will it affect what they put in their defense?

Send the schedule ASAP. You will hear from the court if it has made a difference to the defence. Have a read of this i the meantime http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/lloyds-bank/47344-claim-too-vague-defence.html
