When you come to settle add this in tell them your claim has increased by £50 due to loss of earnings [CPR 27.14]

Hi clairec

I didn't really say anything to be honest, I gave the claim number and then he said he'd try and get a full settlement to me before the end of the week! I then said "oh!"

Go for it - good luck x

Thanks pickle!!!! I'm afraid I'm going to be quite good and pay off debt! Also have a dance teaching course I have to do in January for 2 years, which is going to cost £4000, so it'll go towards that too!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Definitely worth the phone calls and the hanging around. Well done you! I can't believe you are going to be so sensible with the money - at least say that you are putting £50 aside for a good old drink up to celebrate.

:D :D :D

I couldn't believe my luck when i have just read your story :) .. I must be a week behind you with barclays.

Got my date through and was wondering where to go form here.

From your story i think i will definitely ring barclays tomorrow and see what happens. .. it is all a bit scary though!!

Where did you get your information from to put together your court bundle or did you not even have to go that far?

It is my first time on this site today and its been so helpful
