Hi all,


Yet another question....sorry but not used to all this legal jargon and getting totally confused and dont want to mess it up at this stage in the game.


Cant find help on how to work out how to charge the interest and need it explaining to me in laymans terms. I know ive to charge 8% onto something but dont know what and dont understand what this s.69 reference is. Could anybody please explain what i should be doing>>

There are some links below to help you get around. Look for the N1 link below. The S.69 part is from the County Courts Act 1984. It's the amount of interest you can claim under this act, which is 8%.

Thanks ukaviator, with a little help from a friend (cause im terrible at maths) have figured out how to calculate the spreadsheet and completed that. Im now completing the from on HMCS money claim online and theres a section where i have to type some jargon advising im claiming the interest back. Theres a paragraph which then says im also claiming daily interst upto judgement day but how much do i charge for this and am i also allowed to include somewhere charges for the amount of time this has taken me to do...cause ive spent a lot of my days off work doing this so feel i should be compensated for that too.


Any advice here from anyone.
