hi , wonder if anyone can help

i posted my S.A.R letter 0n the 29/03/07 , they received it on 30/3/07 , i gave them their 40 days and they did contact me at all , so i used the step by step instructions and sent them out a non compliance letter which was received by them on 9/5/07 , this gives them 7 days to respond - STILL NOTHING !!!

what should i do ?

just to add - both letters were sent recorded delivery and i have printed out the delivery details from the royal mail site , i also included the £10 postal order with my S.A.R request - basically everything has been done to the letter by the instructions given on this site :)

I guess the information commissioner is the next move.

You need to contact that office to report the non compliance. They could be toying with their licence

  • 2 weeks later...

i gave them a few more days, and hey presto my bank chrges letter cam, with a list of charges going back only 3 years and they stated that the rest would arrive shortly - they also said my £10 fee would be returned

this made me highly suspicious , but received the rest of my statements today - so next step, ask nicely for my charges back , lol

thanks
