Hi Lucy,

If you have worked out all your charges from past 6 years you need to send off your prelim letter. You can get the template for this on the Bank templates page in the main contents of the forum, include you charges with this and ensure you send recorded delivery.

It is advisable to read through the site many times checking on peoples posts and most definatley reading the FAQ's.

I personally spent about a month going through it all to understand the whole process and am now awaiting Nationwides defence.

There are many people on here who will help you along the way, answering any questions etc.

Good luck and remember YOU WILL SUCCEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Lightening Lucy!

The following Thread contains some further useful links...

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/nationwide/70325-im-new-confused-please.html?highlight=Claire500

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.

Blessed is he who in the name of charity and goodwill shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children.

And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.

And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Hi Lucy,

There are basically four steps

1) Get your bank statements back (if you haven't got them).

2) Send Preliminary letter together with a list of charges to the bank.

3) Send Letter before action

4) Raise a Moneyclaim.

Hope this helps
