I have been offered by TSB 750 ponds which will be put into my account within 10 days. However I am claiming 2250 pounds. Not sure if this is something they do in order to put people off taking them to court. what do you think?

That's exactly why they do it. Carry on with your claim as normal but send one of the accept as part payment/reject completely letters from the templates library

Barclays - 2 Accounts - WON

Capital 1 - WON with CI

LTSB - WON

LTSB pre 6 years - N1 for non compliance filed

Barclays pre 6 years - Prelim sent

Thanxs for you advise.

I will go ahead and send letter. However I have heard that the court process is different in Scotland. Is this true? Do I just go through the small claims cout/proceedings?

YEs. The claims process is different in scotland. Try looking on the main page or in the FAQ's for the claiming in scotland thread. You can also claim in england if you have an address there that you can have mail sent to. Hope this helps

  • 4 weeks later...

Can anyone help me? I am unsure what do do now about my claim. I have sent the part payment/reject letter and heard nothing. I am in Scotland and very unsure as to what to do now. I have had a look at the recommended threads but still unsure. Is there a limit of 750 pounds per claim and therfore would I have to sent a few through the court system or can I claim for the lot excluding the 750 pounds already paid into my account?
