hi all ,

Having read Bankfodders post that although lots of people are getting their money back with the help of this site, not many are giving anything back, COME ON GUYS this site deserves much better ,i havent got my money yet but i want to donate, If EVERY member were to put a just a £5.00 cheque or postal order in the post think what an amazing difference this could make! think about it ,the more money goes into the site the better and more effective it will become, your donating towards your own future,AND THEN when you get your money back REMEMBER who helped you! and donate again.

THE BANKS HAVE PLENTY OF OUR MONEY TO POTENTIALLY DEFEND OUR CLAIMS, I BET THEY ARE SPENDING HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF YOUR MONEY ON LEGAL TEAMS TRYING TO FIND WAYS OF GETTING OUT OF PAYING YOU BACK, THEY HAVE THEIR BIG GUNS BEHIND THEM

WE SEEM TO BE GOING INTO BATTLE WITHOUT ANY GUNS AT ALL!

My idea is that everyone who Can afford it should donate a token ,and as recognition gets the right to display a small medal on their profile, every donation gets another medal, its just my idea if you have a better one lets hear it,

Dave and Bankfodder have given so much to us all its now time to show our respect and support them, like they have supported and guided us.

DIG DEEP

All donations are very gratefully received, but it is certainly not a requirement of using this site.

Donations should be completely voluntary and given according to the individual user's decision (or conscience).

To make donations a requirement would, in effect, make the CAG a commercial enterprise and we do not charge users for use of this site, or the information on it.

Having said that, when you are counting your repaid charges, just remember who helped you get them back.:-D

Mindzai had an idea taken from another forum he is a member of (non bank charges related). He said that they have a progress bar at the top of the page showing the total amount of money they need for that month and the progress to show how close they are to meeting their running costs each month. He actually thinks this encourages people (on this particular forum) to donate as they can actually see the difference their donation would make and he also said that people tend to donate more regularly too because they can see that their money is needed.

Maybe something like this would be worth a try as it would be more of a visual aid that would stand out.

That's my (well Mindzai's ;)) idea anyway.

Lucid :)

Mindzai & Lucid vs Lloyds TSB

*Won unconditionally with contractual interest (29.85% compounded)

Lucid's Account - £749.62 * Joint Account - £2019.64 * Mindzai's Account - £595.65

*All settled in full - 6/2/07

*Hearings - 7/2/07

*Prelims sent - 9/8/06

Yes, i've seen this on some forums. It's a good idea.

Maybe also having a 'donators roll of honour' sticky thread every month like they do on the other bank forum.

Hi all when I was browsing through the site I noticed on the main page (I think) that there was not much donated compared to the amount of wins this had bothered me as I know a lot of people would not have won if it had not been for this site and all who help on it and although I was gutted for kev losing his claim all the people following this jumped in with donations to help him (great) but the site needs money too, to help all those who need it. Once again thank you all that give up your time to keep the site running to help all of us that probably would not have even thought about reclaiming.

Thank You All xxxx

I totaly agree

without the help and template letters I would not have been

confident to reclaim my charges from the BOS and I personally, would feel

embarrassed to continue asking for advice in other claims without donating to keep this site going...GC

ps

if I win the biggy, large donation on the way so fingers crossed

everything crossed for you GC as you can see when I joined it took me from then till now before I done anything and that was just to phone the F.O.S for my 2 sons and because of this site I am determined to carry on its not for a lot of money but I will be sure to donate no matter what the outcome. (thats as soon as I have saved a few pounds on benefits) not that it matters. R.M.
