Hi everyone,

I have just been offered a settlement of £750 from Lloyds after my original claim for just over £1000. The money has already gone into my account!

Do I accept ???

Has anyone been in this situation before?

Advice greatfully received.

Hi Cardiffboy

I got exactly the same thing. I accepted the offer but wrote and told them I didn't accept the terms and would continue to persue through the courts for the remainder of my money. I said that I would only accept the money as part payment. Yesterday, Lloyds deposit the remainder £1,061.39 into my bank account. I got the whole amount back in the end.

There are some letters on this site somewhere to help with this, but I don't know the link. Sorry.

Send a suitable letter from here:

Then carry on with your claim.

Good luck, let us know how you get on.
