Hi All,

After reading for hours and going boggle eyed can anyone help me?

To cut a long one short.......

Received a letter from my mortgage advisor stating that I can claim back my 'mortgage exit fee' back.

I have found my redemption statement and on it there are:

Early Repayment charge

Vacating fee

Can someone please advise which fees I should be looking at, this mortgage was settled 10/11/2005 and I am unsure what the correct fee should have been.

Can I claim the ERC too or have I missed the boat?

Apologies if I sound thick but mortgages confuse the he** out of me and am seriously out of my depth here, wish it was as simple as claiming my bank charges back :(

Scientia est Potentia

Story so far:

Halifax - called 02/04/07 refunded £230 07/04/07

Abbey - on hold :(

Cabot - they've given up!

Capital One - Won including CI :o
