Well here goes, after wavering for about a year, shall I shant I, HSBC finally made my mind up for me after clobbering me for more than £500 worth of charges in 3 months, albeit at a time when I'm moving house, and cash is tight anyway.

Thanks HSBC

I called Telephone Banking to discuss my account, and they advised me to make an appointment in my branch to discuss my recent charges, and maybe obtain a refund of some of those charges. NO, the branch can only authorise up to a refund of £25, if you want more, I was told, make a written claim for the refund of those charges . . . . . . . well here I am again........ and I'm going back six years  ....... I would have been happy with £250......
