Hi All

I sent my Lba to Barclays on 1st may to which i have had no reply & today is the dealine of the 14 days set out in the LBA, when i sent the DPA SAR i received a reply within 1 week & when i sent the preliminary approach for repayment i received there standard complaints procedure reply within 10 days stating they would get back to me within 4 to 8 weeks. As i have not received a reply to the LBA do i just assume they have received it & file my claim form with the court?

Any help appreciated, i went to my local court today to get the claim forms.

did you send your LBA via recorded delivery? If you did then you could track it and find out if they havae received it.

I am just a little behind you, my LBA went off yesterday by recorded delivery and they received it today......so if i haven't heard by the 28th then i will file my claim.

You could read the step by step instructions and this will help you and tell you what to do next with links to template letters etc.

Hope this helps, keep me posted on how it goes

Thanks for the reply bubble

The one mistake i have made was not sending the letters recorded delivery but i didnt send the other two recorded either & barclays got those no problem. I have been studying the step by step guide today & have almost completed the N1 claim form so i think i will just send it recorded to barclays in the next couple of days.

Dont worry about them not responding to your LBA, it is not unheard of, they dont take you seriously until you file with the court.

A few on here, the first they hear from them is when the defence has been entered.

just wait out the deadline and continue when ready.

Before doing so you MUST be aware that although unusual, this case COULD end up in court. Only start proceedings if you are prepared to go.

If I dont reply to a direct question please feel free to PM me.
