When/if I get a copy on DVD, I will convert it to avi/mpeg/ra etc... and stream/download from this site (if ITV are agreeable).

Cheers. If you do, for the love of anything and everything holy, please don't use RealMedia, since it would be nice to be able to watch it on something other than a PC. ;)

I had the dvd recorder ready 10 minutes before as I knew the phone would start ringing and the doorbell would be going just as it started.

Turned out neither happened as I think My whole town was watching this.

I told a few women over the weekend...........so presumably the word spread like wildfire in 24 hours ha ha

By the way DVD turned out a treat and I can watch that guy fumbling for answers to penalty charges over and over again !!

I thought last nights programme was fab. Well done to you guys who appeared - you showed that "normal" people can stand up to these huge companies and win. I think you all looked great and you got the message across in an articulate and positive way. Well done :-)

Not sure if im right (need to see it again) but did the bloke from the bank not say "it's is what it costs in admin to apply the charges!?" So if they didn't apply the charges it wouldn't cost anything? If any one has a copy could they check..? Just rings a bell.... Then I could have been dreaming

I think Mr Defend-The-Bank's-Position was trying to put across the implication that the actions required for these "service charges" (ahem) should not be solely considered in terms of calculating the cost, and rather that the bank's overall running costs should be the mitigating factor in calculating whether the charges were 'fair' or not. Which is, of course, complete and utter bull****.

I'm not good at describing people and I couldn't really do her justice.:D

I doubt she'd appreciate me posting a still onto the site, especially without her permission.

Maybe contact one of the people who are looking into providing copies. I have it on DVD but I need to load it onto the PC really so I can zip and email it or make some DVD copies. Which I will get round to at some point...

Maybe a Lisa appreciaton thread should be started. We're going seriously off topic here.

That's an interesting tack to take! What that says to me is that the Banks are making £33Bn profit, so THEY should be paying US for going over our limits! After all their overall running costs are a massive profit.:D:D:D

I haven't had the chance to read this thread, but well done to all involved with the "Tonight" presentation.

I nearly missed it! I don't watch much TV and it was the missus that spotted it but an excellent presentation by Martin Lewis.

I only mouth my opinion, please look elsewhere for sensible advice! :)
