I found it really hard to find any answers on here with regards to this question everyone seems to busy with Credit card and loan side of it. From what i have been told it is not covered. But when i was defaulted becuase i co0uldnt pay it all back, they reffered to the CCA in the termination notice?

 

so hwo that works i dont know

they ARE covered by the CCA, providing they fit within the provisions of the act (i.e. under £25k [if taken out before 6th april '07])

My Understanding Is The Overdraft Is Covered By The Cca 1974

 

All I Need To Know Is For A Bank To Start A Court Claim, a Default Notice Needs To Be Issued Or Does It

Well, I had a client yesterday who had a default notice served for an overdraft - so I guess it would be needed! :)
