Hi everyone out there.

 

I have just received a copy of my credit file and have found an entry from Vodafone on it which although it is marked as satisfied the account has lots of nice red dots against it. As I have never had a vodfone account or phone for that matter I complained to Experian and asked them to remove it. Experian have put a marker on the file saying it is in dispute. I also wrote to Vodafone stating that I have never had an account with them and asking them to remove this entry.

 

Today I received a letter from Vodafone saying that they are looking into it but now require all my previous addresses. As this entry has been on my file since July 2002 and I have been at this address since August 2002 why don't they have my old address.

 

I'm not sure what to do, I know for sure that I have never had a vodafone phone or account.

 

any help would be much appreciated.
