hello,i sent halifax the request for payment letter last tuesday and received today a letter from Michael Kerr ( Reviews Manager) saying " i am sorry you are unhappy.....blah blah" .Then he said that the charges were applied correctly to my account to cover the administration fees therefore additional work for them (yeah right! now you have extra work with all this claims )and that he was declining my complaint (complaint?????) .Now my question is do i wait for the 14 days to end ? hey still have 7 seven days left or shall i send them another letter saying that it wasn't a complaint it was a request for payment??? thanx

Stick to your timetable - 14 days from prelim letter- and then send your letter before action. Ignore any "fob off" letters the Halifax send you, they don't want you to get your money back.

And don't worry, they will pay up, they just make you work for it.
