Hi all

Sent SAR to Halifax mid Feb - got reply from Ass Branch Manager 1st March send ing cheque back (as a goodwill gesture!) and stated my statements should arrive no later than 10-14 days and if i had no joy then to call back and he would chase them personally. No statements for 3 weeks then I phoned Ass Manager and he said that everyone was doing it and there was a backlog - if i sent a data protection letter to head office they would prioritise it straight away.

Non compliance letter sent on 12th April - to date still no news.

Who can I call before I take it further? I can no longer get through to the Branch on the number they gave me.

I understand that I may have to fill out a N1 form (data protection non compliance) and start a claim?? I haven't got any spare cash for the fee and I'm very strapped at moment.

Shall I pester them by phone and for how much longer??

Urghh, I thought it was all going so well.
