We are currently claiming back charges amounting to £1189.00.

We got a standard fob off letter this morning from the Customer Service manager in Swindon (Customer Experience Team) so now we will send the LBA tomorrow morning and see what happens. Should we be preparing our claim in the meantime?

It seems from reading everyones experiences here that Nationwide dont pay out until a claim has been lodged in the court. I would appreciate some advice. I saw that there is a file showing you what to write in your claim.......its all a bit alien really.

Nationwide have treated my husband very badly. They took his account into the red taking an unpaid direct debit fee when he didnt have an overdraft facility then charged him for being overdrawn!!! absolutely mad isnt it
