Brief story so far: Wife claimed, and won, £3500 from LTSB back in November 2006 for her two single accounts and one joint. Dealt with it alone but funds were credited to joint account. Now it's my turn. Various requests for repayment of charges, by phone and in writing. ending with claim being issued on 16th April 2007. deemed to be served 21/4/07 with defendent having until 5th May 2007 to reply. Had letter today, addressed to Mr & Mrs *** saying thank you for your letter of 15/3/07 (which in fact was LBA) sorry you've not been happy with our response so far. Unable to add to our letter dated 20th April because we have already outlined our position. We see from our records that you have already issued court claim for repayment of these fees and that our solicitors are dealing with this.

Never seen their letter of 20th April, not able to reach them by phone, Andover office. Thing is we no longer have joint account, so they can only credit single account, case of the right hand not knowing what the left hand etc. couldn't arrange p*ss up in brewery

cheers john
