Sorry forget to mention they are sayng I paid £60 on 27/8/2007 which I very much doubt and have asked bank for my statement for that period. It can't have been by cash as a) I don't keep cash in house and I was out of work at that time & b) they got Tower Investigation to trace me at this address (where I lived in 2007) in March 2012.

If they are saying that you paid money to the account, then they are required to prove how and when :) Obviously if you have specific contradictory evidence that would be even better :)

Hello User56565, please advise on the above if you represented your spouse at the hearing or did she speak for herself. I have similar matter for a close family member who is asking her husband to represent her during SD hearing as there is not enough cash to hire a practicing solicitor. I must say though that her husband that is required to carry out the representation on behalf of his wife on the SD hearing (should there be one) is a qualified solicitor but NOT currently in practice. He has vast experience in civil litigation both in district and circuit judges level as he was practising law as a solicitor in a law firm up until 2011 when he was laid off. Currently, he has no practicing certificate. Please advise.
