Hi

I sent my letter to Nationwide a while back, along with my statements detailing the fees I wanted refunded, but heard nothing. Yesterday, the 14 days was up and I posted them a Ntice of Action letter, again enclosing the statements and the amount I am wanting refunding (£915). Today I received a letter from Nationwide telling me that they are not going to pay me back anything. Is this normal?

The letter is also dated the 8th of March, which is some 7 days ago. Slightly odd, I thought.

Is this a normal stance that Nationwide takes until I complete and submit my N1?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks

Cheers Nick.

I have got my N1 form completed ready for action. I have also filled in the spreadsheet detailing all of my charges.

They've got till Tuesday 27th March to pay what's due.

I still rec'd lettters saying know (3 in total now) since i filled with moneyclaim.

I spoke to them today and they stated the following

1, they will acknowledge your claim

2, it will then go in a queue to be added to there refund spreadshheet

3, then its basically a waiting game, when your claim gets to the top of the spreadsheet you get your money.

I got acknowledged 16 days ago and she said i will get paid withing the next week.

Hi

I am filling my claim tomorrow with MCol as I have followed the correct procedures and timeframes and have just had a 'no refund' letter.

However, I have completed the form on MCol as much as I can, and have used the text from the Particular of Claim thred on this website, changing where nesecary. However, when I click on the button to indicate that I wish to claim the Interest, it asks me to enter more text, which then takes me over the number of charcters. Do I have to put this in? As mentioned, in the particulars of claim text, I have indicated that I am claiming the 8% interest and also what that amount is.

Also, in the field that asks for the total amount being claimed, do I add together the bank charges, interest and the 8% interest charge? I'm pretty sure it is.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks

Hi

I noticed in the MCol procedures that after the Ordr of Acknowledgement has been received by the claiment, a letter and copy of the bank charges are to be sent to Nationwide's solicitors.

Does anyone know who they are and what the address is?

Thanks

One quick, hopefully easy question.

On my claim with Nationwide via MCOL I see that it has been acknowledged by them on the 26th March.

Would I now expect to receive something in the post from HMCS to this effect and if so will I need to do as above and send details to the solictors?

Thanks

Hi All

Have been using all of the information and asistance on CAG to file m claim against Nationwide.

Today I received through my Notice of Acknowledgment from MCol, with Nationwide stating they intend to defend all the claim. Nothing unusual about that.

However, I am just about to send of my statement of charges sheet to Legal Complience at Nationwide, along with a covering letter, but my cla figures on my speadsheet are now different to what my original claim was on the 28th March. I think it's because the dat has moved on, and as I am claiming the 8%, it has increased my claim by a couple of pound.

Can someone tell what I need to do? Do I need to change the date on my PC to reflect the charges I claimed for when I initially submitted my claim?

Any help is appreciated.

thanks

Malc

The amount of interest that has accrued will be added on once the claim is settled.Leave it as it is for now.

Good News everyone....

I have this morning had £915 paid back into my account from Nationwide as a correction. YIPPEE!!! This is the amount of charges they have taken. The Court costs and Interest are yet to go in, but will keep checking throughout the day.

HUGE thanks to everone who has helped and assisted me throughout my claim and a donation will be made shortly to this great site, which I tell everyone about.

Just to make people aware, I filed my claim to MCol on the 28th March, was acknowledged on the 3rd April. I then sent an email to Mr Bacon this morning informing him that there were less than 7 days to go until further court action and attached my charges worksheet. An hour later...Bingo!!
