In brief, posted here a few weeks ago after coming to a standstill over reclaiming £7600 from RBS.

Followed advice given from forum and sent LBA - their deadline elapses on Wednesday. What is the next stage for me?

I am assuming it is to fill in a claim form via the courts. Where do I go - small claims, and if not where?

Sorry if I seem a tad clueless, but have no prior experience of courts and have no idea what to do next.

Thank you!

Hi there!

You can file on line. The banks then have to acknowledge the claim read these they will answer all your questions and prepare you for the next stage.

Hi!

Last bits to get through! Close to the date and then you can file. Dont lose your nerve!

Just so you are up on what to expect this is a great link so there are no nasty suprises. Step 7 is where you are up to!

Worth reading up on fees and if you have to pay them before you file.

There are two options for filing your claim.

Money Claim online and the N1 in your local court.

To find your local court - http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/HMCSCourtFinder/

You can apply for an exemption through the court when you file your N1 claim so it is worth a read and if in hardship, worth applying.

Money claim online - No fee exemptions for filing

5. Money Claim On-Line (MCOL) Particulars of Claim

N1 at your local court. - Fee exemption and remission allowed.

4. Particulars of claim - N1 - hard copy version

It is well worth trying for exemption or remission if you qualify and if you can show financial hardship...you may be granted it! Nothing ventured nothing gained!

Good luck!
