My sister is pursuing Halifax for charges on two separate accounts. She's at the "letter before action" stage, and her question is this: does she have to start two separate claims against them, on for each account, or can she deal with them simultaneously, in the same letter?

Many thanks

Bristolman

Hi if they are both bank accounts or both credit card accounts then yes one letter/ claim is ok. Should 1 be a credit card and 1 be a bank account then no.

No, you can combine both on one claim. In your letter state what charges realte to which account.

A prudent question is one-half of wisdom.
