I was not aware you were conversing wlith Monument via email, any chance you could post or pm me any email addresses you have for them? I sent in my judgement request last week and can feel a 'pay up now or deal with bailiffs' email coming on!!

Just started (as promised ) with Amex. LBA went off yesterday (fri). I bet they cant think what the hell I'm up to? I only have a debit balance of £1.

 

I want to push them into admitting the agreement is not an agreement, or failing that I'll file an N1 for noncompliance, and try to get it declared void

Yep, I now live in Berkshire but originally from Prescot road Farefield and I lived in Kirkby for 9 years in the 80s for my sins. I like your good humor and miss the people their. keep it up and enjoy fighting these capitalist.:grin:

It seems that Barclays class you as a 'good account'! From my understanding Raphaels Bank who operate under CompuCredit bought a whole lot of Monument Accounts the majority of which were classed as 'bad debt' accounts (one of which was mine!). Aparrently they specialise in providing credit to people with adverse credit ratings. Barclays kept roughy 2% of accounts, the ones that they believe are in good working order and won't cause to much trouble for them!!

No...not at all...just a tiny bit preoccupied with some work stuff, have to write a machine control program, and try to make it do something I've never tried before.....been tying up all my free time, i think I have it sussed now though , then ive got hols coming up in a few weeks :) going sailing in greece......I love it, meandering from island to island, little harbour to little harbour. Away from all this hustle.......Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

 

but as concerns the info website...The devil is in the detail as they say. I would like it to be fully searchable etc that would mean sql databases etc...S that takes a short while to work out.

 

Might just put something up for now and work on the fully blown one as I get time

Just emailed them yesterday threatening all sorts of bad things, and expected a response (foolish really)

So I will wait until tommorrrow and then send the bailiffs in

Why not wait the full 28 days and then send in the baliffs and have the pleasure of giving them a permanent county court judgement on their credit history which will affect their CRA rating..............for the next 6 years? :D

For business, a statutory demand is FAR more satisfying, as if they don't pay up in 18 days, you can close the b*ggers down.

 

Not, however, a step to be taken against someone you still owe money to:)

hey Dave looks like i'm in the same situation judgement received though no cheque. When you mention sending in the bailiffs I assume you mean getting a warrant of execution from the local courts? As I understand it this process can take up to 4 weeks believe or not before the bailiffs even turn up to the premises! I think what might do is send a final request for payment to monument giving them a 7 days to pay up, if they don;t then i will go to a third party debt collector who can send in their 'collectors' a lot quicker all they need is proof of the judgement i believe.

Dont remind them at all Dave. Let it go and then contact the Court. How nice it would be to get a judgement against them in Court and have the balliffs go in and lift a few computers or a bosses car
