Hi all

This is my first attempt to claim money back for unlawful bank charges. As as expected Abbey seem to be playing games. I sent Abbey a letter requesting 6 years statements back on the 20 March 2007. I have received a reply from Abbey, but all they sent was statements for the Jan 2006 - Nov 2006. My account was closed in Nov 2006 after clearing my overdraft, but i had the account for well over six years. There was no covering letter, just a sheet with my address on and the statements.

In the original letter i gave them the statutory 40 days under the DPA, which will be up soon.

Does anyone have any advice to what i should do next? As i feel that they are only trying to fob me off.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanx

Have a look in the Bank Templates Library for DPA non-complance information.
