Hi, not been able to update due to the death of my father in law.

 

Got a letter from the OFT regarding the complaint against HFO.

Do you think I should go ahead even though they have stopped calling.

 

Letter from Barclaycard aim to resolve the matter by the 24th Sept, this was from the CRM letter dated 29th Aug.

 

Letter from Barclaycard dated 30th Aug, from CRM asking for bank details to credit my account.

 

Both letters from Barclaycard came from CRM different people.

 

Could you advise me on the letter asking for my bank details as you know I sent this before and the money was sent to HFO.

Letter from Barclaycard dated 30th Aug, from CRM asking for bank details to credit my account. I assume they're referring to the bank account where you would like your charges refunded. That's ok... they can have that with pleasure.

 

Both letters from Barclaycard came from CRM different people. Don't worry about this... but hang on to both letters, in case the matter is still not resolved, despite them asking for your bank details.

Supply them as requested and see what they do. Make sure that you include any ref. that they have used on their letter in your reply... and send it by rec. delivery.

Hi P1, It is a very difficult time as OH is not coping very well and it has been very stressful for me.

 

I know HFO have stopped harrassing us at the moment but I know from before that they will start calling again, so I am going to fill in the complaints form.

 

I know they have my sons bank details he sent them first time round, I will get him to write to them again. ( they asked in the letter for him to phone the with the details)

 

I wanted advice before I told him to write. Hope this all makes sense not thinking straight at the moment.

If that's all they want, then it should be ok for your son to 'phone these details through to speed up the process. Let us know how he gets on, Maimie.

Hi Mamie, sorry to hear about your loss.

 

I think you are right to continue with your complaint. Things like phone calls seem to go in cycles, so they no doubt will start again unless you keep going with the complaint with the OFT. Also the only way to get them to stop this practice is for people to keep complaining.

Letter sent to OFT complaining about HFO.

 

Received a final offer from the assistant to the director for almost full amount, my son phoned to give his bank details they told him he would have to get in touch with the FOS first, once he accepts that will be the end of it, so heres hoping no more Barclaycard and no more HFO
