Guest ChloeJane
just joined need help with claiming do i use the letter that is used for interest charges even if i dont have a overdraft on my acount thanks and hi to you all to

The Interest charges - if you have been charged fees even without an overdraft on your account, interest would have been charged.

If at any time the account was debited with fees - this would incur interest charged on those fees, so you can claim this as the arguement is that if they had not charged you unlawful fees, placing you in debit, then they would not have earnt interest on this.

It is and can be a little confusing with interest as we all assume it is based on having an overdraft that it is charged. This not true, so it is worth looking at.

Not sure which letter you are seeking in reference to the interest so thought I would add a link to the steps.

There are links on there for the letters that you may need.

A good link after this is to the templates library!

If you need any help with understanding the interest, drop into the chat room for instant help and you will find everyone helpful to answer your questions!

Don't be daunted if busy - just type away and you will see the support you get!

Good luck with your claim and I hope the links help.
