Ignore what they say about time scale although things are taking a little longer because of the amount of claims they are dealing with at present.

It's your time scale, not theirs,

Halifax saying they have 8 weeks is like me saying that Fulham will win the FA Cup!-complete rubbish.

Do as Sally says and stick to your timeframe not theirs.

Found this, which also agees with ignoring it

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/halifax-bank-bank-scotland/80690-just-quicky-halifax-say.html

It's a pity the chatroom is still closed as that place can really help with any doubts and fears you have.

Also good for just unwinding and having fun.

Still hopefully it won't be long.

It's basically a waiting game, seeing who can out stare the other - don't be the one to look away.

Many people do at this stage and give up.

Make sure you stick with the winners and you will be one!
