Hi there - I seem to be on full flow!

I've had charges refunded from Lloyds Mastercard, an offer of half charges from Sainsburys Visa so I'm going for it with the above also.

I've just sent my first letter requesting refund of charges today totalling approx. £300

Littlewoods seem quite difficult to deal with on this forum- will keep this one uptodate!

Credit card letter to LPF sent 16/04/07 recorded delivery - not delivered according to RM as yet (23/04/07)!!!

If it is not delivered by Friday should I send another letter to another address? If so which one should I use - there seem to be several around???

I sent my LPF account request direct to Barclaycard along with the other 3 B'card accounts that I had.

My SAR is now on about day 60 and my letter b4 action threatening legal proceedings for non compliance has resulted in a letter statingt that i will have everything by the 27th. We shall see.

Good luck! I hope you have patience ;)

Hi dar3n

I have all my statements (I even have my first salary slips from 1986) - so it was not needed! Is that ok? - I just sent the credit card letter showing total charges and requesting refund......

That is okay, did you send it by recorded delivery? if so they had 14 days to respond, if they havent, try something like this

Send it again, again recorded. sorry you will have to allow another 14 days ;(

go into the post office and casually ask how much a letter is insured for if sent recorded delivery. if they say upto £30, then put a claim in, you dont have to prove what was in there, but it was worth something to you. [i insured my court bundle when posting it to B's for the same amount of the claim]

Hi I received a letter from Littlewoods (even though RM says its not been signed for!) offering me the difference between the charges for £20 & their new cost of £12. Total of £144.

I am tempted to accept as it will reduce debt to them and will reduce my DMP, no Court Costs etc., and they haven't asked me to sign anything!!!
