Hi cashin I didn't get a DCA with MBNA but I did get their troglodytes from India ringing at all hours of the day and night. If you got charges go after them the more the merrier dpick:p

Many thanks for that.

Hi Cashin, they use various DCA's, the ones I have come across the most are Link Financial, HFO Services and Arrow Global. They are all as bad as eachother frankly and I have no doubt there are more. You might also have a look in the general debt forum as a lot of MBNA'ers tend to post there.

Looking for advice.

I have an MBNA credit card on which I took out protection insurance. After a year I instructed the bank to cancel the policy via a secure message over their website.

Their response was that I could only cancel the policy by contacting them via the phone. This I did but was subject to all sorts of objections as to why I should not cancel and that I had to give a further 30 days notice commncing from the beginning of a charging period. In the meantime 3 further monthly premiums had been charged before the policy was cancelled.

Can I claim a refund for MBNA not acting immediately on a customer instruction?
