I've been charged £105 for the month between 10th march and 10th april 2007. 70 unpaid direct debit CHARGES and another 35 for unpaid standing order.

I remember a letter which said the maximum they will chgarge me is £90per month... this is obv over the threshhold. i'm gong to reclaim my bank charges with immediate effect.

monday morning i'm storming into my bank and requesting all my bank statements reprints for the last 6yrs (when i hit 18 was 6yrs ago, so it's okay)

.

i feel i'll get around 500quid back in bank charges, i can't bloody wait!

ok so i first accumulate the charges into a lump sum

send them a letter requesting it back

they refuse

i proceed with litigations

they sh!t it and give me my bank charges back.

is it as simple as that? i hear the letter templates are all on this website... guidance anyone pls?

Hi,

They have said that they will only charge you a maximum of £90 in overdraft excess fees per month. But they will charge you as many Unpaid Item fees as they need to - unfortunately.

There's plenty of guidance on this site and you'll find the FAQS and the Bank Templates Library useful resources. It's also a good idea to keep a check on current threads in the Lloyds forum so you can see how they go about it and know what to expect in their responses. Also check out the won claims in the successes sub-forum.

However it's always a good idea to make sure you completely understand the process before you begin so reading around the other sections of the site will certainly help out.

Good luck. Lucid :)

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Think that may be the OFT £12 thing???? If so, don't worry about it. See the following link, but it really is unlikely to make any impact on your claim http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/general/70359-about-oft-not-so.html

Good Luck

Hi guys, i forgot my other two username and passwords to ended up making this account, tis moi, Uzi lol.

OKay just to let you know i've got my bank statements back for the last six years. I have worked out the charges to the sum of £502 not including charges for July 2007.

Could someone please advise me what to do next. I know i need to send a letter to the bank (i will browse through directory shortly) but i may decide to do it over the phone. Could you advise me as to the tone i should take, a stern or ****ed off one..?

Gona go browsing now... 502 quid !!! ALso as a note it is not including the 8% intrest? DO i add 8% compounded interest?
