No worries, and welcome aboard too. Pop back whenever you need help with the next step. Questions and queries always welcome when it comes to making the banks pay back what they should never have taken in the first place.

All the best.......... this is just the start of the journey.

Hi jay, hopefully you'll get the rest of your statements soon. But it may be worth giving them a call and explaining that you've only received one years worth. They do still have a while to comply yet though, so hang in ............. they may be in the post!!! Good luck, hedgey xxx :p

Correctamundo............................. at the end of the day if they come back with offers from prelim and LBA, the choice is yours whether you choose to accept any offer or not. Personally I would only accept an offer of the full charges back, nothing less, but only you can decide that, and what is right for you. Send your prelim, then 14 days, then send LBA, then fourteen days and if no offer on the table, file your court claim. Onward and upward.................. youre off now. All the best.......... get going and dont delay, the quicker you start the quicker your money is on its way back to your account. All the best............ Fendy xxx

Great, and dont be tempted to give them longer to reply to you. Stick to the timetable, that way they know you mean business and YOU DO AS YOU SAY ARE GOING TO DO. At that point, they know you are serious and will file court claim. All the very best of luck with everything, but you wont need it, the money will be yours again, its just a case of WHEN and not IF. Hi forgot to ask do i have to send my statements with the charges on to back up wot am claiming for ??? Or is it just the letter with the amount on ??

thanks

Its the letter with the amount on, but back it up with the spreadsheet showing breakdown of how you have arrived at that figure. i.e. the spreadsheets to be found on the site here. It lets you show, the date of the charge, what it was for, i.e. returned d/d etc. cost, and it works out the interest for ya too, so nice an easy. The spreadsheet breakdown is really the whole basis for your claim, so ensure you send it with the prelim letter. All the best. Fendy xx

Can any help me with this ??

Recieved a letter today from natwest it say's

"Thank you for your recent letter regarding the fees applied to your account.

We are currently considering your claim.Given the work involved in assessing your claim we anticipate that we will be in a position to respond within 6-7 weeks, but will endeavour to do sooner if we are able to."

Standard rubbish from Natwest to buy them more time. Their turnaround is approx 8 weeks at present, although some are longer/shorter, bit of a lottey really. If you haven't already sent off your LBA, then send it soon as. If you have, just wait till the LBA is up then file at court if you wish.
