auburngreeneyes, follow the cag method and you will get your money back -

the above was a little exchange between someone stirring up trouble and a couple of the members - nothing to worry about .

Hiya auburngreeneyes, Richards post concerned County Court Judgements i.e. claims HSBC have lost in court but still haven’t settled.

As I said this isn’t HSBC's fault, if they have lost you hand it over to the bailiffs to collect from them (and charge all the TV companies to film the bailiffs stripping out your local branch ) this is always newsworthy and a good laff

Also when a CAG member wins, even by a default in court by HSBC we make sure they have the information to collect.(these cases are very very rare)

Yep its perfectly normal with HSBC, their Leeds customer services department where you have the offer from operates totally autonomously from DG solicitors (HSBC's legal arm) in Birmingham.

Up to you what you do, only you know how much money you need from your claim and if you can wait for it.

My personal view is you have paid your court fees so you might as well take the ride. DG solicitors will return your court fees and the statutory interest (8%) on your charge figure, HSBC Leeds wont.

PS Crusher mate, can you set this poor lad up with a thread of his own

OK.... hang out the flags!

it is done!

thanks to a sprained ankle and some time at home I have finally got my 4th claim ready to roll!

£1002 in charges back to 1993 (ahhhh, my first charge, seems like yesterday) a charge for excess OD... just £15.

Ah, bless.

Anyhow, CI comes to £1591, interest charged on charges is just over £140. I think the spreaddy is showing this a bit low, so some final touches to do.

Mr Langdale.... here we come!

indeed.

this is not a standard claim. We are talking 6+, with no current charges in there at all. There is also contractual interest in there, however this only adds about £800 to the claim, so not excessive (as some of the claims with this type of interest are in my opinion).

This is not your bread and butter... lol.

I need to be very prepared...

not scared.... prepared.

Oh well it will have to be burning midnight oil again.

Its just as well the banks dont share records of claimants else you would be lucky to open a swiss parachute account  after alll these claims

I bet your on HSBC Christmas card list now, but then again,,,,,,,,,maybe not.

Can see that being a problem with the no AQ scenario. Some of the local courts aren’t even issuing directions until the allocation fee is paid, unfortunately they also aren’t telling people to pay it unless they phone up and ask. We will have to keep an eye out for people who are just sitting and waiting.

I rang the court and asked if i needed to pay the AQ fee, even tho they wernt asking for AQ.

They said yes they still required payment

So i duly sent my £100 and guess what. 2 weeks later they send me a court cheque back saying they dont need it as no AQ has been asked for yet

Der hum Doh

Presume you get some kind of notice if DG file an AQ
