Hi All

I asked Amex to provide me with a "true signed and certified" copy of my default notice as I don't remember having received one. In response they sent me a default notice with my name, account number, a 2004 date and the word 'COPY' stamped in red, however it wasn't signed. As far as I can see this could have been knocked up last week as there's nothing to indicate that this is a true copy of the original. How do I proceed with this. My aim is to have them remove the default as unsubstantiated if they don't fulfil my request. They also failed to provide me with a copy of the original agreement that I had requested and sent them cheque for. Are they fobbing me off?

Cheers

MSR.
