Hello Im Lou01

I am all new to this, even though I have been claiming my charges for a while. I have settled already with a Woolwich Current Account, they owed my £4000 and i settled with £2000 (I was so desperate for cash) and now I am half way through with Barclaycard and I need some help please!

I am making a claim to Barclaycard for £710 and i have received a letter today offering me £178 as a geasture for the difference in the amount that has been applied to my account and the £12 fee that has been recommended by the OFT? what is this £12 fee that has been agreed? can I try to get some more back or now that this amount has been set am i fighting a losing battle?

Please advise.

Guest Niklowe

Take no notice of their offer Lou, this is a typical ploy to hope you settle for less. You are entitled to the full amount back. They know it but will try it on.

Hello Lou

Do everything in writing from now on. Here is a letter to send rejecting the offer, and stating that you will pursue them for the rest.

Can you now start your own thread under Barclaycard?..
