Ozzie - Claimin charges back from Nationwide

I've been thinking and wonder if anyone has had a similar situation to me?

I've opened myself another account with Barclays after entering a debt managment programme. My nationwide account that i am trying to claim the charges back on is overdrawn but has been included in the repayments for the DMP. I have requested that Nationwide pay me back in the form of a cheuqe but i am a little worried as i don't want them to put the money in the account and close it without notice, as this would mean all the money i claim back would be swallowed up?

Has any one had a similar problem - and if so can you instruct the banks to pay back in the form of a cheuqe via the MCOL?

Any advice appreciated?

Thanks

they have every right to ask for the money to be offset against the debt. But I think that you have entered a DMP you still persue the claim but let the DMP holder know what you are doing.
