Hi, Can anyone advise,a spart of any claim, if it is OK to claim back 'unauthorised overdraft interest charges' which are applied at a far higher rate than the standard rate?

Also, as regards time limits, I started a claim to the bank (Lloyds) around 3 - 4 years ago which went through their procedures, a 'final decision' and culminated with the Ombudsman. The Ombudsman's decision was not acted upon - my question is, will it be acceptable for my claim to go back 3 years more than the standard 6 years?

Yes, but only the portion attributable directly to the default charges. The spreadsheet for working this out is here (the "complex" one) : http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/182-6-interest-calculation-spreadsheets.html Regards, Mad Nick
