hi all

I am at present waiting for halifax to send statments and getting bored so I will have a go at mbna while im waiting.

just need a bit of advice first.

I have 2 mbna credit cards 1 has always been mbna the other was originaly a halifax cc (BHF) but halifax transfered it to mbna a few years ago.

Now I dont ever recall signing any agreement when this happened so should I ask for this first or just hit them both with a SAR request and carry on in the normal way.

1 other thing one account is just mbna but the other is mbna europe bank, can I treat both as the same disorganisation

Many thanks BB

Hi there Boatboy

My credit card was originally with abbey then transferred to MBNA - I have just sent of a SAR but not a CCA yet

I definately didn't sign an agreement when this was transferred

Just send one SAR to MBNA with all your account numbers on it to

MBNA Europe Bank Ltd

Customer Assistance Department

PO Box 10

Chester

CH4 9FD

I really feel sorry for the postman in all of this - his back must be broke delivering all the mail to MBNA Chester

My sister got her pay out without having to do any of the hassel i went through with.

She just asked them for statements of all bank charges over the last six month period, they wrote her a letter stating they are looking into her account, one week later she got a cheque for 800quid hassle free!!
