Hi All, I'm pretty new so forgive me for posting this again!! I'm just starting my thread on my fight with Lloyds TSB.

Sent DPA letter on 7th February 2007 and received a list of charges back on 23rd March. The envelope had no stamp and was incorrectly addressed!!

Sent letter requesting payment on 27th March 2007 and received a letter back today which waffles on and on but has this paragraph:

"The office of fair trading has published new guidelines on credit card default charges. We're still talking it through with them, but the important point is tht the guidelines are about 'default' charges that people pay when they break an agreement with us. This does not apply to your charges as these were for dealing with your request to got over your agreed overdraft limit. They are not default charges because you haven't broken your agreement. They are our prices for the service we provide in these situations."

As per advice on a previous post I'm off to find out what I should do next.

 Mrs Mop

Thats a standard LTSB response. Give them the 14 days since posting the payment request then proceed with the LBA.

But do go through the I found these invaluable.
