Not sure if I'm in the right place for a "techie query"

I'm on Windows ME & Zone Alarm

On navigating threads, when I need to click on the next page I get the following every time

A runtime error has occurred

Do you wish to debug?

Line 157

Error: 'this controlobj' is null or not an object

YES NO

I've tried switching Zone Alarm off but I still get it---I have to click on the YES about 15 times & it then changes pages.

I don't get it on any other forum-incl Penaltycharges which uses the same web hosting software?

Any suggestions as it is very frustrating.

Hi there..Im getting the same message from Int. Explorer Script Error, using windows XP. I also have no problems on Penalty Charges Site. It's so annoying, maybe someone out there knows a wee bit more about this than us?:-|

OK you need to trun OFF script warning messages.

In internet Explorer;

Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab > OPtions you want are under Browsing.

Check Disable Script Debugging

UNCheck Display a Notification About Every Scritp Error.

Then Apply > OK and OK all the way out.

Hope this helps

You're best off going with XP as you'll face less problems.

Bear in mind that, from experience, the minimum usable spec is a P3 500 and 256 Mb RAM.
