Hi everyone,

I have recently bought an item off ebay that has arrived damaged (not as described) probably due to the dreadfull way it was packed. This forum was recomended by a friend, so will start searching before I begin a new thread on my ebay woe.

Have you contacted teh seller regarding the damage? This is usually the first point of contact, also Royal Mail regarding postal insurance?

The seller hasn't yet replied to my emails or feedback. I will have to set up a dispute through paypal if I don't get a reply soon.

The post invoice for the projector says it has insurance so I will be pesterring the seller to chase that up. Do you know if I have any grounds to persue this with the courier "DHL" myself as I thought all responsibility is on the sender?

It is, the goods must arrive in the state that they were described in the sale.

How long have you been waiting for a reply from the seller?

What level of feedback has the seller got? (number of / percentage)

Was the damage visible on delivery, or only when opened?

If some damage seen on delivery, did you make a note of it when signing etc?
