Hi All


Just assisting my Father in Law with a claim. We have sent the prelim letter and received a reply today saying they cannot locate his account details even though we quite clearly stated the correct acct number and sort code and he has banked with them for years!


I have just won with Natwest so Lloyds tactics are new to me. It sounds like a delay tactic and just wondered if anyone else has received similar. It was from Hannah Long.


Also, its a business account with them so I take it the contact address is the same Customer Care address in Birmingham?


Any advice on a response to them would be gratefully received.

Hi Ali


I had an identical letter regarding my business a/c! I just sent them a copy statement and said it was interesting that they had managed to send me statements and letters when overdrawn! Stick to your timetable - it is a delaying tactic and provide them with the information they require but make sure you stick to your 14 days each time! Good luck
